The Adelaide Hills region is the perfect place to escape from the hot heat of a South Australian wedding. The weather is a few degrees cooler, the trees provide amazing shade and the heat is usually accompanied by a summer breeze.Andy and Jenna married in the historic Hans Heysen gardens in Hahndorf. With no visitors allowed in the gardens during wedding ceremonies and located off the main road, the gardens were perfectly private and serene! The sun was shining and the temperature was lovely, following a very hot week! Their ceremony was followed with a reception at the stunning Bridgewater Mill, where we finished up their portrait photography and then joined the reception for a fun night of fabulous food and dancing!
Luke and I just loved being with Jenna and Andys friends and family and celebrating alongside of them in the beautiful hills. Enjoy viewing the story of their day through our images. Jenna and Andy thank you for allowing us to be there with you on the happiest day of your life!! xx
This beautiful antique brooch belonged to Jenna's Grandma and was her 'something old'.
This is why Luke and I love what we do. Wedding days are filled with precious and amazing moments like Jenna and her Dad having a Father-Daughter first look.
While I was photographing the girls, Luke was over photographing the boys and making sure they were at the ceremony on time!
Andy is a chef and its obvious he inherited his love and natural talent with food from his Mum who made their fantastic wedding cake which was decorated with gold dust and gold leaf!
