I had an AMAZING time at the Semaphore Beach here in Adelaide last night. Luke and I drove down after work after I had been nagging him for about about a week wanting to head down there. We've had such bad weather lately and didn't want to get caught in the rain but last night the clouds broke and I got in a few sunset shots and got to play around with angles and patterns. Even attempted a long exposure without a tripod in the wind!

THE START

So...2010 was a HUGE year for me...

I met the love of my life
Embarked on a 1 month trip to Europe
Got a promotion
Finished my post-graduate studies
Moved in with my love


After this whirlwind year, the over-acheiver in me was left feeling ugh. I felt I didn't have direction...

My boyfriend has a passion for photography but wasn't into it, I was thinking it was too technical and time-consuming.

Then one day while out shooting some photos and getting annoyed at having to share his camera with me, he suggested I buy my own...

So after much research I got a bargain Nikkon D3100!
